Default People Using the Bank at Sachem's Cove

To anyone using the point at Sachem's Cove for fishing, hiking, etc., please stay off the heavily eroded embankment, especially the area where you can see all sand and exposed tree roots. This used to be a pristine embankment, which is eroding rapidly, causing damage to the waters of the pond and endangering the trees, which now have exposed roots due to overuse. Thank you.

FYI and for those unfamiliar with the location of Sachem's Cove or the embankment referred to herein; its the heavily eroded high bank (or point of land) that jutts into the White pond and the 'cove' on White Pond's southerly side.

** Please respect the land and this valuable resource **

NOTE: this area is Concord conservation land. As such and by law, the following is not permitted:

- Swimming from conservation land.
- Unleashed pets in water
- Fires/ alcohol/ camping

Thank you
