Default First Oil Slick of the Season
As I was entering the water at the White Avenue Beach yesterday, there was a light oily film on the surface going out about 20 feet. I was surprised to see it so early in the season. Has anyone else noticed it?

Default Early May oil slick report
Hi Jim,

Sorry to not have tripped over your post sooner. I will record your report in the "Comments" section of the Friends of White Pond database. There have been a lot of the annual spring deposits on the surface: pollen, etc. but I haven't noticed anything oily.
