Default Erosion at Stone Root beach - a solution

OK, so we know the Stone Root beach (Old Pickard Farm Trust) is a mess as well as a large contributor of run off into the pond. The following photos illustrate the extent of this and given last year's photo-documentary, how dramatically erosion and lack of trail maintenance has come in just 1 year:

Due to the lack of any proper maintenance, many hundreds of gallons of water in a given storm run from the tracks and directly into the pond as evidenced by this image & the path to the right of tree: A solution a few of us are looking to engineer, is a chain off of this access to the right of tree in concert with bales of straw (we're speaking with those who may donate them) & finally, cut in culverts to off load water prior to it getting into the pond.

To the point of straw bales, if you know of a source, please speak up. Otherwise, we'll assume the purchase costs.

Looking down this portion of the 'trail'. There are in fact '2' major run off sources here with one to the right of this one but not seen in photo.

As always, we're seeking volunteers to assist in this and all efforts.
If you believe you can help or care to help, please make it known.
Thank you....
